A friend just recommended Food Not Lawns: How to Turn Your Yard into a Garden And Your Neighborhood into a Community. I haven't read it, but it seems like the sort of thing that should interest me. The title is more or less exactly what I would like to see churches (in particular) doing as a rule rather than as the exception. More on this later, after I finish reading it.
